12 August 610: The Institue is once again under new management and patronage: The Chaos Lord of Dawn has chosen to endorse and protect the Institute and the children who abide within. Rumor has it he has updated the security, ensuring that no danger will come to the orphans, though the same can't be said for would-be intruders. Welcome!
12 December 606: The Institue is officially under new management: Sir Lennux Silverleaf has taken over the role of Headmaster. The children are excited about his new position, and look forward to the day that he will actually be permitted to step foot inside the school.
07 November 606: Our goal for adaquate security for the Institute have been met and indeed, surpassed! Much thanks to the current Security officer, the Late Victoria, formerly of Hobbleton, for her generous volunteer work.
13 September 606: Plans are underway to get running water at the Institute, which will, of course, give us far superior living conditions, but hopefully will also help us with our rising costs to keep the Institute sanitary.
The current plan is to build a system of aquaeducts from the Maelorn to the Institute.
29 August 606: We have met one of our short-term goals - basic shelter and food for over half the orphans, and are currently well on the way to reaching more of our short-term, and possibly long-term goals! There is still much work to be done before the institute will be as I had so envisioned it, but we're moving quickly and I couldn't be more happy with how well we've all done.
20 August 606: Lathadia of Shadowmoor has very generously donated the last of the necessary funds to finish the renovations in the Institute! As a result, a wing of our main building will be named in her honor! We expect a plaque to go up as soon as finances allow.
15 August 606: The children of Sahde have recently been terrorized by visits of ghosts of the Hoblings killed in the Attack of Hobbleton by Sudbyr. However, steps were taken this previous gather to stop the apparitions from visiting the children and orphans, and the youth of Sahde may once again sleep without fear!
09 August 606: We are past the half-way point for our goal of 350 gold to get the Institute open! We hope that we'll be able to have the Institute open before the cold season sets in, and at our current rate, that should be no problem!
15 June 606: Lady Iris de Blance has generously donated much needed supplies to the Institute, including the necessary tools to teach Smithing and Metalergic Arts! Her generosity is much appreciated and will not be forgotten.

After numerous inqueries, I want to publicly state that the Orphans are NOT for sale, trade, or otherwise accessable by means of barter.
They are not objects, they are not ritual components, they are not play-things, and they are not food. They are the young elven citizens of Sahde, and shall be respected as such.

The Institute has an extensive list of proposed cirriculum, with the hopes that any child who enters may recieve a basic education in any subject he desires, be it theoretical or practical. All children will be required to take lessons in Elven History, Literature, and the Arts, as well as History of the Sutherlands and ettiquete classes. Reading and Writing lessons will be strongly encouragedWe hope to raise fine, upstanding citizens of Sahde and the Sutherlands.

All Curriculum will follow and respect the laws of Sahde and the Sutherlands, as decreed by the Baronial Court and King Devron.
