Institute & Orphanage Goals

Though we're headed in the right direction, the Institute is far from completion.  We aim first for the basic survival needs of the children, and then for the education and cultivation of young minds into upstanding citizens.  We still need help to reach our goal and make our dreams (and more importantly, those of the orphans) a reality.

Short Term/Immediate Goals:

• Get the Main Hall renovated.  Cost: 350 Gold.
• Current total (as of 6 June 606): 137.9 Gold.
• Have orphans properly sheltered, fed, and clothed. - Completed!
• Aquire an adaquate amount of food portions to feed orphans.
  
• Aquire an adaquate amount of pelts for blankets.  Goal: 250.
  
• Current total (as of 6 June 606): 49. 
• Achieve and maintain sanitary conditions in all Institute Facilities.
• Aquire Straw Golems to serve as janitorial staff.
• Start up core curriculum classes.
• Aquire team of professors to educate our youngsters.

Long Term Goals:

• Get a separate dormitory built for the orphans, capable of housing at least 1,000 children.
• Be equipped for Special Accomidation orphans, so that elves of all sorts may benefit from the Institute and all it has to offer.
• Build ajoining water reservoir for young Sea Elf orphans
• Create and furnish underground facilities for young Underdark orphans

• Aquire list of contacts for higher education/apprenticeship of older Orphans.
